Went for a furnace inspection today. Did a static pressure test, it failed. Did a carbon monoxide leak test, there is a leak. After looking at the heat exchanger, I noticed two holes in it. The furnace is disabled due to being unsafe. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Today the rooftop unit that serves the used car lot office was diagnosed as having a failed control board. The flame sensor was exposed to higher voltage than it was designed for. Due to this it was also replaced. The unit returned to proper function after these components were sourced, picked up and installed. The unit was visually checked and a carbon monoxide test was done. There is no CO inside of the supply ducts and in the occupied space. Factory parts were used in the repairs today. The parts as well as labor will be warrantied for one year from today. Thank you, Jon Tech notes: York, m/n N1E0842316, s/n ZH150N20N2AAA5A, new control board, flame sensor. Tr (118-70), CO 0ppm.

Happy call. Furnace passed inspection.
Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it was failing. Since we had completed work for it, I called a field supervisor out to see what the issue was. We found that some dampers were lose and had blown shut. We opened all the dampers and tightened them to stay open. Installed new filter and retested. Static is back down now. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger is good. All electrical components are running properly at this time. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Revised quote
Upon arrival the heat was not working. The thermostat was calling for heat but there was no movement at the furnace. I reset the furnace so I could see which error code it was throwing. The inducer motor started up and the igniter turned cherry ride like normal but the gas never released to start the flame and heat the home. I cleared the inducer hose and nipple that goes into the inducer collection box. After clearing the hose and nipple, the system started right up. I tested it 3 times to ensure it would start up on its own and it did. I did a temperature split as well to make sure the unit was not overheating and it was testing within manufacturer specifications at a 49 degree split. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free oto call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. I took payment in the amount of $120.00 via CC for the trip and diagnosis today. Have a great holiday!

They both required new inducer motors and leak repairs. The motors were factory sourced and the repairs are covered by a one year warranty. Both units were cycled several times after the repairs were completed. The thermostat was left at 50 for the evening. Thank you, Jon Today I diagnosed the tube heaters that hang above the service alley. Both units have combustion blowers with seized bearings. I checked the incoming voltage to each motor as well as the units. The motors when unpowered are very difficult to turn. These motors are the first step in the heating cycle. Due to this I was unable to check the
