Arrived for furnace maintenance and inspection. I tested airflow and found the air pressure on the system to be over max so it’s considered failed. I changed filter and air pressure still failed. I tested for carbon monoxide and found the furnace to be pushing carbon monoxide into the home. I showed customer live readings and brought out field supervisor. I ran a camera to inspect heat exchanger and Lund that the heat exchanger had a hole and is cracked. We showed customer findings and we had to shut furnace down and red tag furnace due to safety failures.
Completed furnace maintenance and inspection. I checked all components and amp draws. I tested airflow and temp splits. I cleaned flame sensor, spark Ignitor and cleaned up furnace. I found no issues with system today. Filter needs changed and customer is changing that today. Furnace is operating within manufacture specifications at departure. Renewed membership and set up smart ac sensors.

Both units have combustion blower motors that have failed. The voltage to the heaters were checked and the motors were receiving power but not turning. They were unpowered and the shafts barely turned. In addition to this each tube heater has a small gas leak. The combustion blowers are the first step in the ignition process for these heaters. They will need to function before we can Tech notes: 12’ A-frame needed, tube heater (north)m/n DX2-30-100N, s/n 0408RWEN58604002, bad inducer, gas leak at flex line Tube heater (south), m/n DX2-30-100N, s/n xxx
