Performed heating tuneup on furnace. Inspected all electrical components and electrical wires. Inspected air filter. Performed combustion check on heat exchanger. Inspected heat exchanger and is in good shape. System is running within manufacturers specs at this time

At time of arrival found furnace metal four pipe broken off, and also found hole in the heat exchanger and showed customer my concerns. After showing customer my options for repair, he decided it’s best to schedule a comfort advisor to give an estimate to replace the furnace and flue pipe to get a better warranty together. I did shut down the furnace and tagged out for hazardous condition. Comfort advisor will come out today after noon. No other work performed at this time

Performed maintenance and safety inspection on the furnace. Inspected all electrical connections to ensure they are secure and not rubbing. Performed a combustion analysis on the heat exchanger and found zero issues. Customer service the humidifier there selves. I showed him where to turn the water on which is above the water heater on the hot water line. I made sure humidifier was draining properly. There was a little bit of drywall dust in the blower compartment. I cleaned out as much as possible and recommended having their ducts clean since this house is a new build. Furnace is running safely and within manufacturers specifications at this time. Customer did bring up a small issue they are having with their mechanical room drain. Says there is a smell that comes and goes every so often. This drain accommodates the AC, furnace, and humidifier condensation. Asked the customer to keep an eye on it and note when it happens along with what the circumstances were when it happ

Customer stated that the a/c outside would kick on than kick off for certain time. After further diagnostic discovered that the a/c was tripping on the plenum discharge sensor when zone 2 was the only zone calling for cool. The only to correct and keep the discharge sensor from tripping is to open up the barometric damper to lower air pressure and cool properly. A/C is currently operating under manufacture specifications.

Upon arrival customer stated the neither the furnace or a/c would kick on. After further diagnostic discovered that the fuse was blown. Replaced fuse and I still wasn’t receiving any control voltage. Than discovered that the voltage conversion transformer had failed. Replaced transformer to test where the low voltage short was coming from. Discovered that the inline fuse that was protecting the transformer is bypassed internally in the circuit board and not protecting the transformer. After further investigation discover that the outdoor voltage distributor is what’s causing the short. Informed the customer that to get system properly fixed we would have to replace the outdoor voltage distributor, the voltage conversion transformer, and the electronic control board. The customer approved to only get the voltage conversion transformer to at least have heat running. I did inform him in order to prevent shorting out another transformer I would have to disconnect the control wires that

Installed new fan blade to complete the work previously formed system is clean and operation within factory specifications.

Upon arrival found that the outdoor exhaust removal system and the Voltage enhancement system has failed. After speaking with the customer customer chose gold option allowing me to rebuild the outdoor electrical control panel, replace the exhaust removal system, and return at a later date after ordering parts to perform extensive cleaning as well as to replace the outdoor exhaust removal fan blades. System was slightly low on refrigerant due to customer being a good customer and choosing a top option I went ahead and recharged the outdoor unit back to factory specifications. (Adding the refrigerant is not included in the 18 month warranty) everything else done it covered. System is cooling properly at this time.
Nick L.
Checked all operators in the cooling mode. Replaced furnace filter that was very dirty. Checked all electrical and refrigerant components outdoors and found the system. To be low on refrigerant. Upon customers request I added refrigerant and internal leak sealer to the system. System is now cooling within factory specifications.

Apon arrival I found that the refridgerant in your system was overcharged, I gave estimate to have refridgerant removed and customer excepted, after removing refridgerant system cooled as it should, before removing refridgerant the superheat was 1 degree and after I removed refridgerant it was 24 degrees as factory specifications recommend. Thanks for having me out today, Eli

Preformed a whole home plumbing inspection and gave them a quoted them on a new 50 gallon gas water heater. The old 40 gallon gas water heater is 8 years old and doesn’t have a expansion tank. There water pressure is at 80 psi but informed the customer that a pressure regulator would only help if the city decided to turn the water pressure up. Last I quoted the customer on a new outside faucet on the front of the house. Also quoted them a yearly p3

Upon arrival area code was high limit switch, after inspecting all high limit switches found a high limit at the blower motor to be cutting the furnace electrical circulation causing the furnace to not turn on. Customer declined to open store and wants to do everything tomorrow.

Completed furnace tuneup. Performed an electrical test, High voltage wiring running to furnace is stable and secure normal 120 volts. Low-voltage wiring secure and stable. Making the right call from thermostat to board. Performed a combustion check, combustion motor is running and amping normally. Blower motor is running, amperage is on blower motor are up-and-down potentially losing power increasing power losing power would recommend replacing blower motor but system is running. Completed a safety inspection on the furnace, all safety switches are working to manufacture specification. Cleaned all safety switches and recalibrated. This system is heating properly.
