The technician was really nice and took the time to explain any findings and suggestions.
Picked up plastic tarp from sidewalk, customer had already pulled forms from sidewalk and relocated some dirt from around. Spoke to customer about in spring doing a final clean up after settling and doing a light over seed in area excavated in. Thank you for choosing LBA for your services.
Upon arrival I found that the customer was having airflow issues. Tested zoning system and it was operating as should. Found that the filter was very restricted and I replaced it for him. Thanks for having me out today, Eli
Arrived to remedy an inoperable air conditioning system. Turned the system on and started inspection at the furnace. Upon inspection of the system found that the metering device was coated in ice. Opened the evaporator cabinet and found that the capillary tubes were coated in ice. Checked system filter and found it had been changed recently. Used inspection camera to check the secondary heat exchanger and evaporator coil for cleanliness, to ensure proper air flow. Inspected the condenser and verified call for cooling. Checked refrigerant levels and found that the system is low on refrigerant. Performed leak search starting with the condenser and lineset. Found that the evaporator coil has multiple leak points. Talked with homeowner about repair and replacement solutions. Homeowner would like to have the evaporator coil replaced. Will reach out to the office and get a time for the coil to be replaced. Customer called because smoke/carbon monoxide detector intermittently goes off when she runs a lot of hot water. Unable to recreate smoke alarm going off. Water heater is installed properly. Issue is with smoke alarm installed by another company. Advised customer water heater is not causing problem. Customer will follow up with smoke alarm company to include possibly moving location of alarm or installing doors with bigger venting to allow better air flow into confined utility room in garage. Customer has mild sewer smell when dishwasher and disposal are used. Customer claims 1/2 hp disposal is about 10 years old. Company will remove old disposal and install new 3/4 Hp Pro 750 Installed now 3/4 Hp Pro 750 disposal. 1 year warranty. Thank you for choosing LBA. Have a great day!

No heat Troubleshoot unit and found fuse blown on the unit an a bad inducer motor, customer requested for an immediate repair, parts for the AAON unit are only in Lenexa Kansas, return about two hours later , installed the motor and fuses checked operation of heating mode everything is working ok, customer also asked if I can reattach an thermostat that was falling off the wall I properly secure the thermostat back on the wall AAON Serial#-200807-AMGF43729
Customer stated they are having continued interment issues with Aaon RTU 4 SN:200807-AMGE43734 not heating. When I arrived unit was working properly. I cycled the unit roughly 10 times in order to get it to fail to light. At this point I found the unit was not sending voltage from the direct spark ignition board to the unit safety switches. This board will need to be replaced in order for heat to function. I also closed the fresh air dampers to prevent cold outside air from being brought into the space untill repairs can be made.
Upon arrival I found that the capacitor has failed. I contacted Scott McKinley for pricing and gave customer estimates. Gave customer friends and family discount and he agreed to have system fixed. After repairs were made the system was testing as it should at this time
Completed full heating maintenance on 5 Aaon RTUs. Checked mechanical and electrical components, checked flame sensor readings and temperature rise. Units are heating properly at this time. Quote has been resent to replace RTU 4 belt.

I washed the outside unit out. I tested all electrical and mechanical components. The refrigerant pressures are within manufacturers specifications at this time. Completed full cooling maintenance on 5 RTUs. Checked mechanical and electrical components, washed condenser coils and checked temperature splits. Quotes have been sent for repairs.
Customer complaint that sometimes she have to reset the main breaker when temperature gets about 5 degrees above set point Upon my arrival unit was already in the cooling mode I immediately checked the refrigerant charge and pressure , both are just find, compressor amps name plate is 15.6 the actual amps are 11.3 , condenser motor amps on the name plate is 2.6 the actual amps are 2.0 , I inspected the supply fan belt and checked the supply motor amps, the actual amps are 6.2 and The name plate supply motor amps is 7.5, condenser coil is clean and the filters are ok I cycle the unit off an on about 5 different times still not able to simulate any problems, the best thing to do is next time it shuts off call LBA before the customer reset the breaker if all possible
Performed ac diagnostic. System was low on refrigerant. Performed leak search. Found refrigerant leak at one of the braze joints on the evaporator coil. Repaired leak and recharged system with refrigerant. System is cooling and operational at this time. All repairs completed under an install warranty.
Arrived to do performance maintenance. Inspected the whole air conditioning system to verify operation of all mechanical and electronic components. Verified system charge and temperature split. Upon inspection of the condenser coil found that it was packed with debris and with homeowners approval performed an extensive coil cleaning. Air conditioning system is functioning properly at this time.

4-6-21 tues AC is not working in the SE Nursery at main entry. Spoke to Tracy on site. Found #4 Aaon RTU has a call for cooling Y1,Y2 but the compressor is not running. Found the high-pressure limit wire terminal disconnected The way the wire is configure and the connection, it is very tight and their is no play in the wire. Due to the location on the compressor discharge line. The connection vibrate loose. I cut some of the wire ties to make it a little looser. Also,use electrical tape on both wire connections. System is working at this time, it has a 20Â° evaporator split. Spoke to Tracy about my findings above We checked the air flow in the nursery area. The eastside area compared to the Westside is not getting much airflow. Tracyâ€˜s going to keep an eye on it we may want to get up into the ceiling and check the dampers. Upon my arrival found thermostat setting for cooling at 67 degrees and heating at 74, I checked the refrigerant charge on the system in heating mode , everything is ok and temperature warm up to set point at 72 degrees, adjusted unit to cooling mode than drop settings down to 67 degrees, unit ran temperature down to 67 degrees before it cycle off , didnâ€™t find much wrong at this time but maybe thermostat settings were off, I set the cooling at 75 degrees and the heating at 70 degrees, being that the pool is heated, the manager Jennifer is not on site but I explained everything to the on-site assistant, again the problem appears to be a thermostat setting problem not an mechanical issue at this time
On unit serial#2016110043 tech will recover remaining refrigerant from system add nitrogen to system for a leak check if able to find the leak tech will explain to customer the cost for repairs, if repairs are made tech will pull a vacuum on system than replace the recovered the refrigerant add additional refrigerant as needed This quote is Only to leak check the system other cost will determine after this procedure is done
Upon arrival I found that the combustion blower had failed, hi inspected system and gave customer estimate to have system fixed as well as offered to get estimate to have it replaced. Customer decided to have system fixed, I replace combustion blower and tested system everything was functioning as it should at this time. Thanks for having me out today, Eli
Customer complaint that dehumidifier is not working Troubleshoot DX AIR model# DVA-097-2-RHN-R-XX-XX serial# 2016110043 and found unit low on refrigerant charge, search for any obvious leaks around the system, didnâ€™t see any leaks, tech recommend and explained to customer that a leak check and repair is needed if leak can be found before adding more refrigerant, I explained to customer (Jennifer) that I will submit a quote for a leak check for starter
Upon arrival I performed a whole house Plumbing inspection. Water pressure was 80 psi within range but at max. I checked natural gas system with a leak detector. No leaks detected.Water heater is a 2012. Home does not have a sump pump. Washing machine hoses showing corrosion recommend replacement. Master bath call handle on lavatory is loose. All other plumbing fixtures operated normally.
