4/26/24 Sent out today to Todd and Katie’s in regards to a backdrafting water heater. Upon arrival I was greeted by Todd who I went over the purpose of today’s visit with and answered any immediate questions they had to help set expectations. Other than the water heater they mentioned an issue with a low flow faucet in the kitchen. We replaced sump pump, check valve and back up battery

Need to return with the correct control unit that is capable of communicating with the thermostat and zoning control board. Thought we had this product with the smart remote sensor, but after going through the set up process and testing the system, found that it doe not control temperature.

Upon arrival the customers thermostat was not connecting to the internet. I went down and reset the on/off which at the furnace. Waited 10 minutes for the stat to reboot but it never did. Found out the stat had gone bad. They don’t make the stat they had so I got them the Lennox S40 with temp sensor for upstairs. The sensor for upstairs was not compatible with the Lennox S40 so I went back to Lennox to get the correct sensor for upstairs. I picked up the Lennox zoning extender and installed it upstairs. I then made sure both of the homeowners cell phones could connect and control the thermostat. It is working properly at this time! Have a great day!

Arrived for an ac maintenance. Static pressure failed in both heating and cooling. Customer is already aware of issues. All electrical components of furnace were within range. Blower wheel dirty. Heat exchanger looked good. Refrigerant levels were good. All electronics in ac were within range. Cleaned outside coil -Ren

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Started inspection inside and measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Measured power consumption of the blower motor and checked system for cleanliness. Found that the blower wheel is heavily coated in dust debris. Performed a static pressure test and found that the system was well beyond the rated maximum. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure for Thursday morning. Moved inspection outside and verified system refrigerant charge. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the condenser. Rinsed coil free of debris and removed leaves from the inside of the unit. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Valentina who I went over the purpose of today’s visit with and answered any immediate questions they had to help set expectations. I also called Molly for confirmation of everything needing done today, Molly opted out of having the water heater drained on todays visit. 2. Full systems and duct improvements

For this job I was showing up because one of the outdoor units as well as the inside coil was freezing up. Upon checking the first furnace. It was clear that the board and motor would need to get replaced. This was the primary issue of why the coil was freezing, due to the lack of airflow. After checking the heat exchanger, it was clear that there were multiple cracks, and on the unit is old. It is definitely unsafe to operate. With permission, I checked the second unit which is identical to the first. I found the same cracks in nearly the same areas. One system is 20 years old and the other one is 21 years old. Upon calling a supervisor in looking over all possible options. It’s clear that for replacement is most likely the best option. Increasing the airflow will not only make , the house, cool and heat more efficiently but it also take humidity out of the air and you will have less issues with breakdowns in the future. Upon arrival the customer explained the AC was not working. Upon inspection I found the wires from the AC were cut up near the ceiling. I re-wired it and everything came on but there is also a refrigerant leak in the lineset outside between the AC and the wall of the house. Bob Hamilton installed the system and Steve called them to see if they would cover it under warranty and they told them yes, it would only cost them a trip fee to come out and they would repair it. I will send the estimate for us to fix it in case Hamilton doesn’t work out for whatever reason. I turned the disconnect in the off position so that the AC doesn’t get hurt any further. System holds 12lbs of r410a refrigerant. Have a great birthday Laura!

Upon arrival customers ac was not blowing cold air. Went to check static pressure and it was failing. Moved outside to ac and checked capacitor and found it had completely failed. We also found the blower was very dirty at this time. Takes with customer about repair options and upon their approval we replaced the capacitor, cleaned the blower, and installed a hard start kit. System is operating properly now.

Upon arrival started with installing new PRV and expansion tank for water heater, turned main water off at entrance valve inside home then cut small section out of main water line going up and installed new 3/4 quarter turn ball valve and new PRV. While water was off went to water heater and cut small section away from cold side inlet after ball valve and installed new 3/4 tee in order to install new expansion tank, used metal strap to give support. Tested for leaks by turning main water back on at entrance valve and airing out lines through all fixture inside of home, all fixtures are working properly no loss of pressure. When going to set PRV noticed that entry valve was leaking through packing nut, was able to tighten and stop the leaking. Set PRV to 75 psi tested at hose bib inside of home after the PRV. Went through and checked fixtures again, all good and pressure is good. Went to final task of disconnecting and removing waste and overflow on tub in master bath, noticed several i

4/12/24 Sent out today to Charles in regards to broken outside hydrant. Upon arrival I was greeted by Charles who I went over the purpose of today’s visit with and answered any immediate questions they had to help set expectations. Charles had no other plumbing related concerns today and allowed me to run vital test while I was there. Briefly explained what was going on with systems and why. I didn’t get into attic to access the whole situation with the high static pressure. I am willing to return to figure out what’s going on with ductwork exactly. Customer had to get going tonight so I left them my number so if they had my questions or concerns I could handle that for them. Will see when would be a good time for me to return and get a full scope of what’s going on.

Arrived for AC maintenance on 2 systems. Downstairs unit passed static pressure, CFM was also passing. Found debris in evaporator coil on downstairs unit, recommend cleaning as the debris will cause essentially an air damn preventing airflow causing more wear and tear on the system as a whole. Homeowner mentioned the AC turning on then off quickly. We lowered the discharge air temp sensor cutoff from 40 to 30 degrees which will stop that problem. Both units have dirty blower wheels. These are newer systems, likely dirty from construction. Upstairs unit originally failed static pressure test. We opened a few vents in the home and installed a clean filter. The static pressure is still high. Called out supervisor to finish diagnosis. Outdoor coils are amping within limits at all points. Cleaned outdoor coils. We saw low sub cooling leading us to believe there is low refrigerant on the upstairs unit. When connecting our gauges we heard a hissing noise and we further inspected the Schraed
