Secured a loose wire and tested the system in heating mode. System operates in heating mode. Jon said the ac works great!

Clocked into the wrong job

Customer called stating system was not heating. Upon initial inspection system was engaging heat but dropping out and showing code for high limit open. Checked blower speeds as previous technician had adjusted speeds. Found heat was set to below factory setting and was causing lock out. Adjusted back to factory spec to allow system to run. System operating normally upon departure.

Airflow improvements

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and it is failing. A field supervisor is out to discuss the issue with you. Carbon monoxide test is zero. Heat exchanger had no rust or cracks. Ran a combustion analysis to make sure fuel is burning properly. All electrical components are running properly. System is running upon departure. Furnace SSU was in the off position. Turned it on and the system energized instantly. Neither Paul nor his wife were here and were unreachable by phone. System operating in cooling mode

Completed furnace inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time. Customer did ask for assistance in changing electrostatic media filter, showed her how to replace and replenished her supply of medias. System operating normally at time of departure.

Turned on customers humidifier for them so it’s ready when they start using heat. Customer needed help with thermostat and we were able to correct a schedule issue for them. System operating normally upon departure.

Completed gas line repair. Furnace exhaust fan is locked up causing the system to not heat. Chimney liner is needed to ensure proper draft of the water heater exhuast. Furnace is not graded properly, over time this will lead to premature failure of the primary/secondary heat exchanger. Significant amount of rust is present under the secondary heat exchanger collection box. This is due to the exhaust fan assembly not being properly secured, likely from the factory. Primary heat exchanger is in rough shape, particularly considering it is only 2 years old.

Replaced the filters in all five rooftop units and visually checked the units. There is one unit not in service that has been previously documented.

10/9/24 - Completed a full heating maintenance on all equipment. Filters were changed and proper operation was tested. Overall, all equipment was in good condition, it was all running well, and there were no issues found at this time.

Funace heat exchanger is compromised/no longer sealed. Smaller heat exchanger tubes from from the rear collector box are loose. Gas is off to the furnace. Jared and Gaylynn have been advised not to run it in heating mode. Indoor fan assembly is dusty. Jared mentioned he and his wife suffer from allergies. Because of this we are offering a whole home air purity system to remove allergy aggrevating irritants from the air they breathe while in their home.

WARRANTY: System is low on refrigerant. Confirmed refrigerant leaks at the indoor and outdoor coils. Contacted distributor to order necessary components for warranty replacement. Once those components are on hand, office will schedule a return service appointment.

Out today for ABS shower drain upstairs leaking into kitchen below. Upon inspection, there is easy access to the line. Quoted homeowner tier two repair due to easy access. Homeowner declined repair due to price and non-immediate availability of tub shoe. However, he may call us on Monday to schedule work as bid. Cleaned up work area did not collect; gave estimate only. Imperative note, homeowner is longtime member.

10-4-24 Body cooler refrigeration system is down again. Today I found bubbles in my cycle. I located a leak at the dual pressure control switch and also had a problem with the condenser fan motor switch not working properly. I picked up the parts. They’re on my truck. I have to get with Jim to schedule a time to put these in.
