Bid for replacement. He has no money and doesn’t live in the house so no urgency
.
Came out for a regular maintenance tested static pressure static was fine. Came to find out who is doing no good. The only thing that was functioning with the heat strips within the air handler itself. Customer and I came to the conclusion on that because he said he’s had a couple of weeks where it wasn’t working or keeping up hooked up. My gauges and pressure seems to be stagnant which is not good at all. compressor is not functioning, frozen all around. Supervisor is out now
Flushed water softener
The current system (ICP) is a 4 year old system with a maximum static pressure rating of 0.5. The systems currently running above manufacture specifications and is already causing hot spotting on the heat exchanger (pictures listed below). This raises concerns for safety in the future as eventually the heat exchanger will crack and leak carbon monoxide into the home. The PERMANENT airflow fix to get the system below its rating is a 1 star airflow package . The price that you see is before the 5% military discount. The home does currently have a carbon monoxide detector to alert the homeowners when the leak occurs. The heat exchanger has irreversible damage and the longer it runs at these static pressure readings the more wear and tear it will cause, not only in furnace season, but in a/c season as well. Even though the heat exchanger has irreversible damage (hot spotting) there’s currently not a carbon monoxide leak and for that reason I don’t recommend heat exchanger replacement , how
1/15/25 - Completed a light maintenance on all equipment. Filters were changed and proper operation was tested. Overall, all equipment was in good condition, it was running well, and there were no issues found at this time.
arrived for furnace maintenance today. There is a good temperature split between the return air and supply air. All electrical components are running properly at this time. The blower wheel dirty and needs to be cleaned. There is microbial growth forming on the inside of the systems. I recommend a blower wheel cleaning and air purification that will kill the growth and stop more from forming. Reach back out us when you are ready to do this. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Furnace is leaking carbon monoxide. The furnace is disabled. Thank you for choosing LBA services?

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Che led static pressure and found that it is failing, running over the max rating. This will cause extra wear and tear on system. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger looks good right now. The fan motor is running high, caused by failed static. I changed the furnace filter today. My filed supervisor is out to look into the failed static. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Arrive to customers for a furnace tuneup in during the process of the inspection. We received a high call on static pressure along with discovering biological growth at the condensation drain pan in this dirty debris on the evaporator coil and we’ve also discovered a dirty blower wheel along with Rustation at multiple places of the ductwork on both supply and return As well, as finding hot spots throughout the heat exchanger. All of the components met within factory specs.
Static decline
Went for a furnace inspection today. Did a static pressure test, it failed. Changed the filter. Did a carbon monoxide and gas leak test, no leaks. Combustion analysis test passed. Inducer motor amperage passed. Exhaust flu is in good condition. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Gas pressure and pressure switch passed. Blower motor amperage passed and blower wheel is clean. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Through 2 airflow mods the airflow has been reduced upstairs. Looking at zoning w/ Nick
Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it is still running over the max. We did airflow work in the past which helped lower the pressure. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger looks good. All electrical components are running properly at this time. The two furnace filters are good, but only last one month. UV light and humidifier are working properly. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
With humidifier repairs
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Found that the system is operating with failing static pressure and is on the verge of overheating. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Found large hot spots indicating that the system is operating too hot. Provided wear and tear list to field supervisor so they can summarize the maintenance and review the static pressure issues all at once. Furnace is operational at this time.
Furnace is heating
Arrived for no heat call today. Daniel stated that the code flashing was for “bad airflow”. Upon inspection I found that the supply temp was high and that the system would cut off. I inspected the furnace filter and found that it is a restrictive filter and was not letting enough airflow through the system and causing it to overheat. I put in our high velocity filter and retested the system. The supply temp dropped almost 10 degrees. The system ran and the thermostat satisfied itself 3 times with no codes. I suggested a field supervisor out, but did not want that today. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
1-13-25 Diego and I did the heating check on eight rooftop units unit number two and number three are having issues with the ignition module and possibly the inducer motor. I need to write some closer for that. I gotta do a separate ticket once I get the pricing.
