Came out here for AC maintenance. Upon arrival tested static static was failed. Customer is aware of static failure and has not proceeded to get anything done about it. Take a look at the rest of the unit. Refrigerant charge is perfectly within range as well as amps for the compressor and the fan were good. All wires within the control panel. We’re looking perfectly fine no loose or burnt wires to go look at the capacitor the capacitor was reading well within spec, sprayed off the unit headed up and running replace filter for the customer as well as batteries for her thermostat. Thank you for choosing LBA - Ramon

Upon arrival I found that the issue was that the last tech opened up all the dampers to relieve static pressure and the basement was getting cooler. We tested static pressure and found that it was extremely high and had Scott’s. I’m out to valuate and see what we can do to fix the issue. Thanks for having me out today, Eli.
Came back to replace the blower motor that was faulty blower motor still under warranty, so there was no charge to replace blower motor reconnected and rewired the unit unit is up and running and cooling the home thank you for choosing lba- Ramon

Arrived to remedy a system that is making a clunking noise on start up as well as a droning/surging noise while it’s operating. Started inspection with the inside portion of things. Set thermostat to run and performed diagnostic on the furnace. Found that the system is operating with failing static pressure. Opened all vents in the basement and found that nothing changed on the systems static pressure. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the airflow side of the system. Went outside and checked over the condenser. Found that all motors are functioning properly. Verified system refrigerant charge. Started the system a couple times and the compressor noise did not seem excessively loud. Heard the system droning and determined that if the system were not on a concrete pad up against the foundation of the home, it would not transfer this vibration throughout the home.
Duct cleaning and blower wheel clean evap clean
Went to meet with customer and look at static pressure. Customer was not there

Ran both unit threw a complete cooling check and found the west RTU had its economizer stuck open 100%. Made adjustments to it so it is now shut when called to do so.
Arrived for ac maintenance today. Started at furnace and checked static pressure, blower wheel, blower motor, fliter, drain, temperature splits. Found the filter was dirty and changed it out. All other operations are working properly. At the ac unit I checked capacitor, contactor, running amps, fan motor, refrigerant levels, and coil. Found coil was dirty and with approval I preformed an extensive coil cleaning. All operations are working properly. System is on and running upon leaving. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Arrived at the customers home for issues of water around and on the unit. Upon arrival I went down to the furnace and found water on the floor and on top of the furnace cabinet like the customer explained. I removed the cabinet door to the evaporator coil and found the drain pan completely full. I inspected the evaporator coil to make sure it hadn’t frozen up and that look good tonight. I inspected the drain line trap and found it to be clogged. I blew out the drain line clearing the clog and this drained the evaporator coil drain pan. I then flushed the trap with hot water and added some endure chemical to help break down any contaminants and debris that may still be stuck in the drain line further down. I opened up the furnace cabinet and wiped up all the moisture and water and made sure there was no damage to the electrical components. I started the system and cycled it 3 times to ensure proper startup and running of the system. I performed a temperature split between the supply and
Static improvements
Arrived at the customers home for an AC maintenance. Upon arrival I put the system into cooling mode and began by checking static pressure. Static pressure was failing today at 1.0 when the system is rated for .5. I shut the system down installed a new 20x25x5 Merv 16 filter checked all dampers and vents and retested the system. Static was a bit lower at .94 but still failing. A field supervisor will be out later today to evaluate the issue. I checked all electrical levels which were good. I inspected the blower wheel assembly for cleanliness and excessive play in the bearings. The blower wheel assembly was good today. I performed a temperature split between the supply and return air which was 14.5 degrees. I moved to the outdoor unit and checked the target evaporating temp which was 48 and the actual evaporating temp which was 48. I checked the compressor current amps which were 6. I noticed the outdoor coil was dirty today. Spoke to the customer about having an extensive coil cleanin
Called and left vm.
Found failed static pressure on the system. Showed customer and explained why it’s running that way and explained why upstairs has no airflow. Talked with customer about options and they need to talk to the mom to get repairs approved. Following up Thursday
Arrived for an tune up today. Started at furnace and checked static, temp splits, filter, blower amps and wheel, drain. Static was failing at this time and customer agreed to field supervisor coming out. Also found blower wheel is collecting dust and needs to be cleaned. Moved to outside unit and checked capacitor, contactor, refrigerant, running amps, and coil. I found the capacitor was failing, with approval I replaced. All other operations are working properly. I rinsed the coil clean. System running upon leaving.
Upon arrival we began my removing refrigerator from the condenser. Once we removed the correct amount of refrigerant, we the had to add 12oz to get it back to the proper charge level. Temp split is now at 21 degrees which is ideal.
Upon arrival the AC was making loud noises and they turned it off yesterday so it wouldn’t hurt the system any further. I checked the refrigerant charge and my liquid line pressure was at 600psi which is almost 3 times too high. The charge was good on April 10th but now something is wrong. Either the system is overcharged or the TXV is wide open and flooding the TXV metering device which is an electronic(EEV) in this system. We will have our install team come out on Tuesday next week after the holiday to get it fully diagnosed and fixed. We will call you to confirm the appointment. Have a great holiday weekend! P.S. No payments due for todays call
