Very pleasant and helpful with our questions.
Customer noticed no hot water this morning. Customer went downstairs to check error code on water heater and it was reading blocked exhaust or condensation problem. Inspected exhaust piping and determined it could not be clogged as it is protected by a mesh screen and the screen has not been altered in anyway. Remove condensate hose line and tested by running hot water with the hose disconnected. Water heater still did not turn on even while bypassing potentially clogged hose. Did multiple test with cross connection and multimeter on pressure switches. Was not able to consistently re-create fault. Based on research, experience, and advice from supervisor. These faults are most commonly associated with faulty pressure switches. Explain to customer that we could replace one or all of these pressure switches, but it is still possible that problem could be an electrical short, the motherboard, or possibly even the motor, although that seems less likely as it revs up when the unit is turned
Customer needs new humidifier, shut off valve and an additional valve underneath kitchen sink for a filter. Customer also like basement tub spout, caulked around the base. As per previous techs negotiation, we will also come out and replace humidifier filter I know additional cost. Installed both new shut off valves and caulked tub spout base. Turned on water and tested. Normal operation restored with no leaks.
Customer has failed static we have a supervisor out evaluating now. Also customers unit the inducer needs replaced as soon as possible and the board is cause the system to not light intermittently. If customer had any questions regarding issues don’t hesitate to give us a call
Upon arrival checked all components in the heating mode checked static on both of the units. Both of the units were passing static and CFM as well check all electrical components on both units on the main floor unit I noticed that the inducer was making really bad noises and seem to be a bit off. It was also leaking. I did let the customer know about that. I took a look at the heat exchangers on both units. Both were fine. Both of the blower wheels itself were pretty dirty. I’ll let the customer know what I was finding. She said she’d have to talk with her husband about getting the inducer replaced since it was a alot of money. She did go ahead and decide to get a new humidifier pad for her humidifier that’s about it.
