Arrived for an ac tune up today. Started at at furnace and checked all components. Everything was running properly. Clean blower wheel, good running amps. Moved outside to ac and checked all components. Fan and compressor amps are good. Capacitor and contactor are working properly. System is working properly.
Happy call
Upon arrival the system was not running properly. The thermostat had multiple error messages on it. I came down to the furnace and found the 3 amp fuse had blown. I replaced the fuse with a new one and the system started right up. I did a CFM count on the AC and duct work and it is getting the correct amount of airflow. The temp split in cooling is right where the manufacturer wants it to be. I also checked the heating side and the temp split was within range as well. This system is now running properly again. If anything happens again plz call us immediately so we can figure out why it shut itself down. Customer signed up for another year of our Perfect Service Family Membership!

Came out to finalize the AC system checked last time we were out here. We weren’t able to get accurate readings on refrigerant due to the weather came out check refrigerant all four units all four units. We’re good only thing that was going on with the unit in the barn itself capacitor was a bit low and almost at its filled point I did let the customer know about that said they were going to hold off on it to see how it goes, customer did mention to me that they wanted to get a follow up with Scott and get a quote on wood, the static, and some of the issues that they were having with all cost together.
Arrived for ac maintenance. Static pressure was passing. All electronic components were within range. Corrosion from flu pipe was present. Heat exchanger showed mild heat stress. Evaporator showed microbial growth. Blower wheel dirty. Temperature split within range. Refrigerant levels good. Electrical components in AC within range. Cleaned outside coil -Ren and Ali
Technicians performed ac maintenance today. While performing maintenance we found that the system was low on refrigerant. With customer approval we activated membership for the free lb of refrigerant. I arrived and saw that the static pressure had failed testing. After performing a retest I found system to be failing with airflow as well. I showed customer and explained what that does to a system and why it was happening. We also looked to resolve allergy issues and dust in the home/system. I have a follow up scheduled with customer for Thursday afternoon between 2-3.
Arrived for AC maintenance. Ran initial static pressure tests which failed, walked through home to open vents and replaced filter with new high velocity filter and retested static pressure on 2 stage system. Retest failed, routed out supervisor to finish the diagnosis on static. Blower wheel does have dust and debris on which we recommend a pull and clean. Blower wheel amps are running well. Moved to outside unit to continue tests. Running compressor and fan amping well at outdoor unit. Capacitor testing well. Refrigerant appears to be low, suggested 1 pound of refrigerant which we can add for free with Maintenance Membership. Homeowner chose to do membership plan and we’ll add 1 pound of refrigerant. Suggest getting blower wheel cleaned at some point.
Tested water quality and gave options for repair

Found failed static pressure and a cracked heat exchanger. Technician showed customer live feed and retagged system with customer approval. I talked with customer and explained how airflow affects the system and showed the reason why they were having all these issues with a 7yr old system. Explained what options customer has and Josh would like to talk with spouse before doing anything right now. I gave them my number so we can talk.
For this job, I was showing up on a call for no cool. Upon checking the system. The first thing I noticed was that the static pressure was through the roof. The system is rated for a maximum of .5 but it is pulling 1.1 and that is with a clean filter. This lack of airflow is putting a lot of stress on the system after I checked the outdoor unit it was clear that both capacitors had failed. I replaced the 2 capacitors with a dual run capacitor and then checked the amperage and refrigerant levels. Refrigerant levels were great amperage was high and this is most likely due to all the stress that the lack of airflow has put on the system over the years .
4/19/24 - Completed a full cooling maintenance on 2 RTU’s. Filters were changed, took amp draws, took temperatures, and cleaned units. Overall, both units were in good condition, running well, and there were no problems found.
During this visit three rooftop systems were diagnosed and repaired. Each unit was function checked after the repairs were completed. Suite #200 offices and waiting area. The thermostat was not sending a call for the indoor blower when A/C is signaled. The thermostat was replaced and the unit returned to normal function. Suite #200 conference room. This unit had a contactor that had failed. The primary voltage wire on line three was burnt off of the contactor. The contacts were checked and found to have failed. A new contactor was wired in and the amp draws of all the motors were confirmed to be in range of the manufacturer’s recommendation. Suite# 204 counselor. This thermostat had functioning switches however after the room temperature reached the set point the system continue to operate. The unit on the roof was checked for fused contacts and nothing was discovered on the roof that would contribute to this issue. A new thermostat was installed and function checked. T
Arrived. Customer explained that their floor drain had been backing up and was holding water. Upon inspection the floor drain was holding water and the state of the floor drain was very poor. Got clean out cap off and ran line into the main. Also ran line through the trap but as soon as I pulled my line out the line closed back in on itself. This is due to the inside of the trap being completely rotted out. I stress the urgency of the situation to the customers and gave estimate for floor drain replacement. Customer said they would take tonight and be in touch.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable air conditioning system. Checked systems airflow and found that the main floor system is operating with high static pressure. Went outside and checked the outside unit. Found that there was no power at the contactor. Checked the power disconnect for this unit and found no power there as well. Checked all wires at the unit to ensure so that if the breaker is reset the system won’t immediately trip the breaker. Went and checked the breaker and found it in the off position. Checked the systems maximum and minimum amp draws. Found that the breaker is not the right one to support the condenser. Reached out to the shop and had the correct breaker brought out. Replaced the breaker. With field supervisor checking into the static pressure, double checked fan speeds. Determined that the fan speeds are set properly. Air conditioning systems are functioning at this time.
4/19/24 Sent out today to Dan and Melissa’s in regards to their annual membership plumbing inspection. Upon arrival I was greeted by the two who I went over the purpose of today’s visit with and answered any immediate questions they had to help set expectations. They had a concern about a drip at the kitchen faucet and opted to have the water heater drained on todays visit.
