Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I ran a static pressure test. This system is rated for .5 maximum and it is testing at .41 which is passing. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer and blower motor and both were amping with manufacturer specifications. I took a temperature split on the system. The supply air temp was at 137 degrees - return temp of 80 degrees = 57 degree temp rise is within specs. System is running within specifications. Homeowner had some renters staying her for a few months and they told him the front right side bedroom doesn’t get much airflow. I will have our customer service team call to schedule a time for a supervisor to come out and take a look to see if there is anything we can do to help with that. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. No payment was due for todays visit, it was covered with your membership. Have a great holiday!
Sold replacing tee and drip leg on gas water heater
Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it was failing. Checked blower speeds and set them correct. Walked the house and opened several vents and replace filter. Doing all this dropped static below the max. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Heat exchanger looks good. Blower wheel is collecting dust and will need to be cleaned soon. All electrical components are running properly at this time. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Furnace Repair: A furnace that wouldn’t ignite was traced to a corroded ignition probe. I replaced the faulty part, cleaned the burners, and tested the system to ensure reliable ignition. The homeowner was relieved to have steady heat restored before an approaching snowstorm.

Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. First, I did a static pressure test. This unit is rated for a max static pressure of .5 and it’s testing at .78 total. Next, I checked the running amps on the inducer motor and it was testing right at the max allowed. I did a test for CO and my meter picked up 37ppm which is unsafe. We also looked at the heat exchanger and found it was rusty and cracked in lots of places. Per EPA Rules & Regulations we are required to “Red Tag” the furnace which means we have to turn the gas to the furnace off. After speaking further with Mary, we decided it would be in her best interest to go ahead and replace this system. Everything is setup to be installed this Friday December 13th, 2024. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S.
