Arrived to remedy a system that is making an excessive noise. Upon inspection of the system found that the compressor is making an odd noise. Cut power to the condenser and checked electrical connections. Turn the system back on trying to re-create this noise that the homeowner was hearing. Was never able to re-create the noise, but was able to determine that the compressor is overdrawing amps and the high-pressure side of the system is at extremely high pressure. Search the system for refrigerant restrictions. Determine that the metering device is causing the compressor to overdraw amps and build up pressure on the high side of the system. Coordinating with office to retrieve the necessary part and scheduled repair for Monday.

Arrived for furnace check today. Heat exchanger has rust and is starting to its age. The inducer motor has a leak. The gas chamber is rusting too. I replaced filter today. Temp rise is 62 degrees. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Dispatched for furnace tune-up. The components that are tested during the tuneup are heat exchanger, flame sensor, igniter, blower wheel, inducer, temp split and combustion in the heat exchanger. All components of the furnace are with in range of manufacture specifications. Adjusted damper per request and set humidifier to 35% and opened the humidifier damper. Arrived for furnace check today. Static is running over the max rating. Heat exchanger has water spots but no holes or cracks. Carbon monoxide test was 0 ppm. Blower wheel is dirty. Inducer is running at max rating. Motor bearings are likely wearing down based on what you told me. You are wanting to just let it run as long as it will. System is running upon departure. Arrived for furnace check today. Static is testing over the max. Heat exchanger looks ok. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. There is a 61 degree temp rise. All electrical is running with in specs. Completed furnace, maintenance and inspection. I cleaned flame sensor and wiped down furnace. I checked all components and amp draws. Humidifier is working well. Furnace is running within manufacturer specifications. Filter needs changed out. Furnace is operational at departure. Water heater is getting pretty old and is starting to show its age. Might be close to time to consider replacing the water heater.

Arrived for furnace check today. Static is passing. Heat exchanger looks good. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. There is a 56 degree temp rise. The capacitor has failed and the blower wheel is dirty. All other operations are running properly. With approval I replaced capacitor and cleaned the blower wheel. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.

All electrical components are running within spec. The solenoid for the humidifier is bad. With approval I replaced that. Humidifier is working properly now. Water is flowing with no leaks. Arrived furnace check today. Heat exchanger had separation and pin holes. Carbon monoxide test was 66. Tested again and got 87. My field supervisor came out to best solutions moving forward.
