I performed a comprehensive maintenance and inspection on the furnace. This included cleaning the flame sensor and wiping down the entire unit. I meticulously checked all wire connections and amp draws, ensuring they met safety standards. Components and temperature splits were tested for optimal performance. A loose wire on the high limit switch was identified and resecured. The furnace is now operating efficiently within the manufacturer's specifications.

A customer contacted us for assistance with connecting their gas dryer to the gas line. They had already installed the dryer vent. After providing a detailed quote, the customer agreed to proceed. I carefully connected the gas line to the dryer, ensuring all connections were secure. Following industry standards, I conducted a thorough leak test and confirmed there were no leaks, ensuring the dryer operates safely and efficiently.

I conducted a comprehensive inspection of the furnace, which is a recently installed unit. Upon arrival, I began by examining the furnace's physical condition, ensuring that all components were correctly installed and securely fastened. I then proceeded to test the ignition system, verifying that it ignited smoothly and consistently. The thermostat functionality was checked to ensure accurate temperature control. Airflow and filtration systems were also inspected to confirm optimal performance. Finally, I tested the exhaust system to ensure safe and efficient operation. All aspects of the furnace were found to be in perfect working order.

Today, I performed maintenance on two heating systems. I tested for static pressure and confirmed both systems were within specifications. All electrical components were checked and met manufacturer standards. A combustion test was conducted, and results were within the acceptable range for both systems. The heat exchangers were inspected for cracks and leaks, with none detected. Temperature split and furnace performance were also verified against specifications. Filters were replaced, flame sensors and pressure switch hoses were cleaned, and both systems were operational before leaving. The humidifier and water panel were also inspected and found to be in good condition.

A customer requested assistance with installing a vanity they had purchased. The task involved installing 2x4s to provide adequate support for the floating vanity. Additionally, the plumbing for the drains needed to be reworked to accommodate the new setup. This included installing new shut-off valves to match the customer's supplied faucet. I provided a detailed quote for the work, but the customer opted to handle the installation themselves.

Duct cleaning and Uv for 3/10/26. Arrival between 8 to 9 AM.

I changed air filter with customer provided air filter. Steam humidifier, and furnace are working within manufacture specifications.

Duct cleaning, replace humidifier

The air pressure on the system is higher than it should be. I tested for carbon monoxide and also did a visual inspection on the heat exchanger. I’ve had some carbon monoxide coming from the air vents. During the visual inspection of the heat exchanger I found multiple cracks on the heat exchanger. I had to shut system down and leave. It turned off at departure. I showed customer at the cracks and explained the major safety concern with the furnace. I checked on availability for the heat exchanger and cell replacement holder. The heat exchanger is in stock in Kansas City however, the cell replacement holder that we need to replace the heat exchanger is back ordered 75 days out. I notified customer of this situation as well. I offered having a field supervisor come out to the home to review all options with them. Fur

Customer called in about master shower not wanting to turn off. Took apart handle and shower cartridge is freely spinning. Shower cartridge needs to be replaced. Gave customer estimate and customer approved for us to do the work. Went ahead and shut the water off and installed new cartridge. Before installing cartridge, cleaned inside the valve with wire brush. Put everything back together and shower works like normal. 1 year warranty on shower valve rebuild.

Clean and UV

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Upon arrival homeowner mentioned issues getting hot water to the house. Found that the pilot to one water heater was not lit. Tried to get the water heater ignited and was unable. Reached out to the plumbing manager for assistance diagnosing the unit. Switched focus back to the furnace maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests on each system. Found that the upstairs system is operating close to its overheat limit. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of each furnace. Checked blowers for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the fan for the upstairs system is coated in dust debris. Checked each systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Verified operation of the humidifiers. Replaced both furnace filters and humidifier panels with homeowners supplied products. Furnaces and humidifiers are operational at this time. Found that

Customer called in about sump pump discharge line causing water to go everywhere. Upon arrival found that discharge line for sump pump froze over. Recommended removing Sheetrock and keep Sheetrock off discharge line so it gets proper heat and prevent it from freezing. Gave customer pricing to replace discharge line for sump pump. Customer accepted pricing. Went ahead and installed new discharge line and new check valve as well. Customer interested in battery back up system. Will forward estimates to customer. Customer would like to add a vent in closet area where main entrance valve and sump pump are located 2 year warranty on discharge line install.
