While here we ran the camera down the line to inspect the line, seen no signs of the laundry tie in, we proceeded to run the camera down the line for the laundry room, and there was an immediate blockage. We then offered pricing for jetting as well as sewage ejection pump, and then also offered another stack replacement per requested. I’m on a received three estimates

Went for a tuen up call today for heat. Checked amperage for blower motor is passing. Inducer on furnace is failing past max rating. As well inducer motor on system is leaking.. Did a combustion test is within range but at start up does have a high reading. Inspected heat exchanger does have rust point and secondary is leaking. Will recommend for both to be replaced. Checked temp split and is passing for specifications on furnace. Did replace filter for customer. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch hose. System is up and running before departure. Customer requested rescheduled since we didn’t come in the morning slot.

Arrives for a furnace showing that it was overheating. I found a filter clogged with white flakes from the standalone humidifiers. Customer had an extra filter so we swapped the filter out and could hear the airflow slow down in the system. We changed out humidifier pad with customer provided humidifier pad. I tested high limit switch and it passed the test. UV ballast is not working properly. The ballast is receiving voltage, but is not sending the voltage to the bulbs. I checked the bulbs and the bulbs are in good condition.

Customer called in for $47 water heater flush special. Customer has two water heaters for us to flush. Went ahead and performed water heater flushes. Both water heaters flushed clean. Customer does have water softener system and is working properly. Did noticed that expansion tank is not properly supported causing risers to lean on quick connect fitting. Quick connect can cause a leak if expansion tank is not supported. Also expansion tank is undersized for both water heaters. Need to have a 4.5 gallon expansion tank instead of the 2 gallon tank. Quoted customer pricing to fix expansion tank & replace quick connect fitting. Customer will contact original plumber and see if they will address quick connect fitting.

Dispatched for possible humidifier issue. After inspecting the humidifier and its operation. The humidifier is working correctly and at max performance. The humidifier will only operate when the system is on for heating. The humidifier can not operate independently or turn the blower on.

Was called out to the home due to the furnace intermittently not taking back on when the thermostat is calling for heat. Customer also also noticed that the air coming out of the vents is not as strong sometimes. The only code that I saw on the board was for the pressure switch not closing while the inducer motor is running. I cleared pressure switch tube and the pressure switch resistor. Furnace turned on and off just fine while I was here. Customer had already changed out the batteries in the thermostat since they were getting low. Customer stated that furnace was working properly since then. I fixed the blower speeds for furnace and blower only. Blower only had the highest speed wire while the furnace had a slower, blower speed than what the manufacturer has on their wiring diagram. I changed blower speeds around so that furnace is running with the blower speed designed by the manufacturer and the blower only setting is using a slower blower speed. Dispatched to the home to provide a duct cleaning estimate and perform a full furnace tune-up. Customers tub was not draining at all so we ran the snake as an attempt to get it flowing again and also ran the air snake, the tub is flowing but kind of slow, informed the customer the pipe probably has a small belly causing the water to drain not as efficient.

Moving forward with a furnace tune-up at this time. Customer will review estimates with her husband this evening.

Arrived to provide information on a systems humidifier. Spoke with homeowner about adjustments to allow the humidifier to be more effective or at least turn off on the warmer days. With homeowners approval started a furnace maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Verified operation of the humidifier. Furnace and humidifier are operational at this time.

Completed furnace, maintenance and inspection. I cleaned flame sensor and wiped down furnace. I tested amp draws and components. I checked airflow and temp splits. I changed out air filter with customer provided air filter. With customer approval I changed out the humidifier water panel. I notified and showed customer of the dust and debris in the ductwork. Customer opted to not look into finding solutions at this time. Furnace is operating within manufacture specifications at departure.
