Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, I conducted a thorough inspection and operational test of the newly installed heat pump and furnace system. When the thermostat called for heat, the outdoor unit was mistakenly operating in cooling mode. After a detailed diagnostic of the system settings and controls, it was found that the furnace control board was not configured to recognize the heat pump pairing. Correcting this configuration allowed the system to function properly. The heat pump engaged in heating mode, the reversing valve operated correctly, and the indoor blower and outdoor unit completed normal heating cycles. The supply air temperature increased as expected, confirming proper heat pump operation. The system now responds correctly to thermostat calls for heat.

We performed a thorough furnace tune-up to ensure safe and efficient operation. We inspected the heat exchanger, verified safety controls, and checked venting for obstructions. The burners showed delayed ignition, suggesting a need for cleaning or replacement. The blower wheel had significant dust buildup, reducing efficiency by 30%. We cleaned components, tested electrical connections, and verified system performance. The furnace operates safely and efficiently, but we recommend addressing the burners and blower wheel to prevent future issues.
During the service, I carefully assessed the existing drain levels and identified the need for elevation. Upon inspection, it was determined that the slow drainage in the kitchen sink was due to the existing house trap. Despite previous attempts to reroute the pipe, the issue persisted and worsened. To address this, I carefully examined the plumbing system and identified the root cause. The solution involved replacing the existing house trap with a new one, ensuring proper drainage and resolving the persistent slow drainage issue.
I performed a comprehensive maintenance and inspection on the furnace. This included testing all components and amp draws, cleaning the flame sensor and spark igniter, and thoroughly wiping down the furnace. I assessed airflow and temperature splits, and conducted three safety checks. The carbon monoxide detector showed 3PPM. During the combustion analysis, some readings were slightly elevated. A visual inspection of the heat exchanger revealed multiple rust spots and one developing crack. I presented the findings and images to the customer, and the furnace was operational upon my departure.

During the plumbing inspection, I thoroughly examined the water heater, ensuring it was functioning correctly. Given the condo's recent construction, I turned up the water heater to optimize its performance. I recommended flushing the water heater during the next scheduled visit to maintain its efficiency. Additionally, we discussed various water treatment options, focusing on the potential installation of a Halo 5 system. If the customer decides to proceed, I suggested installing it in a closet and opening up the Sheetrock to run the necessary water and drain lines, ensuring a seamless integration.

Upon receiving the new handle, I carefully removed the old one, ensuring no damage to the door frame. I then installed the new handle, making sure it was securely fastened and functioning properly. To ensure durability and a smooth finish, I applied a coat of primer before painting the handle. The job was completed efficiently, leaving the door fully functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The customer reported low water pressure at three fixtures. Upon inspection, sediment was found clogging the fixtures. Water pressure was tested at 100psi, exceeding the 80psi limit. Various estimates were provided. Additionally, a cracked and chipping stack was identified, requiring an inspection by opening the back wall and potentially the fridge. Further cracks could adjust the price. The customer will decide after receiving one more estimate.
The task involved removing the side board on the deck and the wood beneath it to access the spigot. We cut into the existing waterline to remove the old, blown-out spigot. In a tight space with limited room, we installed an 8-inch frost-proof spigot. This new spigot was connected using a PEX 90 fitting to ensure a secure attachment to the existing waterline. The process required precision and careful handling due to the confined area.
Didn’t even do what I initially asked for help. We have had this problem since we bought the house (2018) and even after we have had work done (2021/2022). This happens once a year. Snake it and it helps the issue. Seemed like they wanted more and more money out of us than a drain unclog. Just felt like they wanted to take advantage of me and didn’t do what I asked. Just talked about what more they could do or talked around why they were there. Stated there was a clog but seemed they didn’t even try to unclog it? More intrigued by his camera and wanting to send me a quote of what more they could do. I asked if he snaked it and he said no only camera. I’ve always had plumbers take to the unclog and then result in camera if issue isn’t resolved. Said they were done and wanted to take about their quote. I stated I had an appointment to get to in the afternoon and they said they would send quote via email instead doing it there. I thought they would send something by end of the day but not sure. They left without saying goodbye or filling me in on what to expect next steps are. I actually thought they were going to do more possibly snake the drain but just left? Walked outside to ask them details of the visit as i thought they were still here and they were gone. Not really sure what even happened. Highly disappointed. They were nice but not worth my time. Only thing that was good was it was same day call. Will be getting a second opinion. Felt like they may be taking advantage as I don’t normally leave reviews like this. We are both in sales so we are not new to the process.
Chase is excellent and explains what he is doing as he is working. Corrected a thermostat problem and restored my heat in no time. 2 thumbs up!
Excellent service!
The Dynamic Duo came out and I actually liked them.
Technician showed up within the window provided. Quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved it.
Trevor and Louis were truly wonderful as they took care of our upstairs shower plumbing. We have an old house so re-doing pipes is, to say the least, challenging. Trevor and Louis took their time, starting with careful measurements, getting all the correct materials, and then doing the job. It took them extra time as they had to get through some wood that had been placed by earlier plumbers, and they had some difficulty removing the old valves, but they were able to accomplish installing the new pipes and valves. They do have a return visit planned to finish the tile work and caulk around the faucet and valves, and then the project will be finished. They cleaned up afterwards and checked their work. We always appreciate Trevor taking care of our plumbing needs, as he's consistently attentive to detail and will keep working until the job is done. Thanks so much!
The team was super nice, polite, kept the workspace clean, etc.
Lane told me the quote to put a humidifier on our furnace is $ 750 and the cost to remove our water softener is $ 300, or a total of $ 1050. When I opened the quote it was for $ 920 for the humidifier only. This was a surprise to me. Lane is a very good sales person, but his information was misleading.

Andy was very helpful walking me through the eccobee app on my phone. He was very pleasant and friendly.
He did a very good once he got there
Very kind; excellent service!!
Fabian was excellent… professional, friendly, knowledgeable. He quoted us another job on a couple of faucets… we will definitely reach out after Thanksgiving to schedule that with Fabian.
We just had our semi-annual HVAC check-up, and Johann Aguilar did an AWESOME job! He called within the appointment window, and was very accurate regarding his estimated arrival time. He was polite and efficient, but took the time to answer some questions I had about our system, and put my mind at ease by doing a quick check of our air ducts and by opening the panel so we could assess the effect of the UV light above the AC condenser/coil. (It's working like a charm!) He conducted a thorough assessment of our furnace, and provided a checklist of his work (all "green"--hurray!). We discussed some potential improvements to the system in the future, and everything was completed within 90 minutes. He even rolled our trash container back from the curb to its resting place against the side of the house, after trash pick-up! How thoughtful!! Johann is yet another example of the 5-star service that LBA provides. Thank you so much!
Once again, I was pleased and confident that my furnace check-up was being handled by a professional and competent service technician.
Chase did a fine job on our furnace he is a very nice person to work with
The technicians arrived in a timely matter and provided excellent service and recomdations.
Chase, like all the guys from LBA, really knows his stuff!
LBA was able to adjust their schedules to get me in a bit after hours. Johann is a great tech - friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I highly recommend.
I received a great offer from LBA to have both my air conditioner and furnace cleaned and inspected. Corbin came out to do the work. While I have had some HVAC training in college, I tagged along with Corbin to learn a little more. Corbin had the latest in test equipment and inspected all vital parts. I was very impressed with his knowledge and customer relation skills. I highly recommend this company.
We are so glad Corbin did such an amazing job! We will be sure to let him know you sang his praises! Call us if you need anything at all!
