We were very happy for many years and felt that we were being well taken care of, with quality service and expert advice on our homes HVAC and plumbing. I would always tell anyone who was looking to get HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work done "LBA is not the cheapest option, but they do quality work and are very professional, and, in my opinion the best home service company in the KC metro." Then, it seemed that there was a noticitable decline in service and reliability with LBA around (maybe?) 2020 and I slowly began to stop recommending LBA services. BUT, the past two years I have seen a dramatic shift back to the company of quality and customer focus. Please continue to hire and give praise (and well deserved raises) to service techs like Johann. Went for an AC inspection today. Changed the filter. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Blower motor amperage passed. Evaporator coil is clean and rust free. Outside system coil is clean. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Compressor and fan amperage passed. Capacitor passed as well. Contactor has some burn marks. Talked to the customer, she decided she would look to get by this year and look into a repair next AC season. AC is up and running upon completion. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Dispatched for zone damper malfunctioning. At arrival the zone damper for the main floor/kitchen area was not closing past the 3 setting which is only 25% closed. This was allowing air to past the damper and cool the main floor when there was a call for the second floor. After resetting the damper and multiple test the damper is closing and opening fully. Located both leaks for the two south units that are side discharge units. I ran water over them and cleaned out the condensation drains. I could not get the system to leak inside. There are two different options we can go about and one is to build dog houses over the exposed ductwork or two wrapping the duct in weather rated wrapping. I spoke with someone inside and they said it only leaks during heavy rain and has been for the last four months. I can not locate any water marking on and duct work or around the area besides on the ceiling tile and on the floor in those areas. Tryed calling Blake to explain what’s going on but I received his voicemail. I left a message for him about this build.
