Customer called in needing two tankless water heaters replaced. Both tankless are located upstairs in utility room. Spoke with customer and customer has 4 bathrooms and only 3 people live in the house. Got a second opinion from manager and both us believe that customer doesn’t need two tankless and can get away with only having one. We will be providing Navien 240A2 with a built in recirculating pump. Our price includes remove and haul away of old unit and any repiping of the gas, water, & flue.

Chase was so informative and did a great job explaining our situation to me. He arrived on time and provided great service. I will definitely request him in the future.
When I arrived, I turned the AC on at the thermostat however the AC did not kick on to run. I connected to the system through an app on my phone and found that the AC unit was not communicating with the furnace. I then went outside and saw an error code on the AC. The error code stated that the AC was low on refrigerant. I went ahead and restarted the system, and then the AC came on and was running, so I checked refrigerant pressures. The temperature outside is too cold to properly check refrigerant however I am able to get a good idea on refrigerant levels. Refrigerant pressure check shows that the unit should be OK on refrigerant. The communication error is normally the control board on the outside unit. Since the furnace works perfectly fine and is connecting properly through the app. I diagnosed that the outside unit control board needs replaced. I talked with customer about options with that. Customer would like to talk with spouse before making any decisions.
Fixed a condensate drain line inside the furnace that was popping off. Measured out the flu pipe and due to the length of flu pipe the furnace needs 3 inch pipe. Installers will be backed out tomorrow morning to run a new flu and fresh air intake.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable humidifier. Upon inspection of the humidifier found a red light indicating that the steam canister is not filling with water. Performed diagnostic on the unit and determined that the solenoid valve or fill valve is not allowing water to flow properly. Called Aprilaire tech-support to verify my diagnosis and start the warranty process. Spoke with homeowner about the necessary repair. With homeowners approval performed the replacement of the fill valve. Tested system operations. System is functioning properly at this time.
Returned to move forward pull & reset of toilet along with flange repair. Went ahead and pulled toilet and saw that flange was set below flooring. Went ahead and used flange repair to raise the flange above the flooring. Installed new wax ring along with new stool bolts & caps. Also installed new supply line as well. Flushed toilet multiple times and toilet no longer leaking. 1 year warranty on pull and reset.
Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found that the furnace would not operate and it was giving a fault code related to the pressure switch. This is a similar issue as yesterday. Performed diagnostic on the pressure switch and venting system. Found that even though the pressure switch is closing and trying to relay its signal, it is not a reliable signal. Without the control board receiving a reliable signal it will not allow the system to operate. Spoke with homeowner and with homeowners approval replaced the pressure switch. Tested system operations. Furnace is functioning properly at this time.
Customer called in needing water heater looked at. Currently water heater is working. Water heater is 12 years old. Customer is the original homeowner and house was built 12 years ago. Customer mentioned that they believe the water heater is starting to go out because they’re getting inconsistent hot water in their master shower. I asked customer if hot water inconsistency is throughout the house or just at their shower. Customer mentioned that they’ve only noticed at their shower that they’re having inconsistency of hot water. Went to look at the upstairs shower and looked at both shower valves. Informed customer that he may be having issues with the showers themselves and may not be a water heater issue. Informed customer that we can definitely start with a rebuild in both shower valves and see if they still have a hot water inconsistency issues. Customer also had me look at a leak they noticed down in their utility room. Leak seems to be coming from toilet check the surrounding floo

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found it heating the home like normal. Performed diagnostic and found that the inducer bearings are making excessive noise and the inducer is getting abnormally hot. Put together estimates to replace the inducer and verification system, as well as addressing an issue found during the maintenance. With homeowners approval called and ordered the replacement inducer. Had a parts runner retrieve the part. Performed the replacement, making sure to clean any mating surfaces and clear any debris in the flue. Tested system operations after replacement and calibrated the systems gas valve. System is functioning properly at this time.
