6/13/25 - Completed a full cooling maintenance on all equipment. The filters were changed, the coils were cleaned, and proper operation was tested. Overall, all equipment was in good condition, it was all running as it should be, and there were no issues found at this time.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Found that the system is operating with failing static pressure. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis of the systems static pressure. Checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Found that the fan for heating and cooling is coated in dust debris. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.

Thermostat wasn’t sending a call for cool. After looking at the wiring on the thermostat, I noticed the wire has been cut. After fixing the wire, the system is up and cooling. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

DATE: 3/17/25 Detailed description of what was done today: arrived at home and spoke with Torie about expectations and the reason why I was here today. After confirming that I was here for a tub spout replacement I got started on disassembling old tub spout, I then cleaned existing copper pipe for a smooth surface before installing brand new tub spout. I also tightened up the shower handle because it was loose that way Torie shower was 100%. Collected signatures and payment before departure. Services done today: -tub spout replacement. Cesar showed up on time and was very professional for our plumbing maintenance. Overall, I think he did a great job - answered all my questions. The next day though, we had cold showers in the morning. Somehow, the pilot light on water heater did not get turned back on after appointment.

Guys came out and did a thorough job and took time to answer all my questions.
I was solicited at 3:00pm on a Sunday for a $47 furnace tune up. That’s way less than their usual tune up rate so I scheduled them. They had an opening the next day (Monday) so I booked an afternoon spot. They called Monday morning and asked to come early so they were obviously without much business. The technician came upstairs 20 minutes after arriving to let us know that our system was no longer functional after he ran a “test” at a high output rating. The repair is $0 for parts but $360 for approimately 40 minutes of labor. Needless to say we feel completely set up for an expensive repair for something that was working just fine. It was either pay for the repair or be left with a non-functioning furnace in February. The hourly rate for this repair is more like a high profile attorney so needless to say they won’t get another cent from us. The supervisor spoke to me like I should be thanking them for this not happening as an emergency service call and likely without heat for 2-3 days. BTW we have been long time customers and even purchased this HVAC and furnace from them 5 years ago.
