Installed full 80% system, drop/airbear, UV light, and smart AC

Customer called for out on mini split, found it was almost completely flat. Pressurized system to look for leak but was unable to identify. Pulled vacuum and recharged system while also adding uv detector. Will return to perform maintenance and search for leak further.

Completed AC inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications with the exception of static pressure. Customer furnace is rated for .5 inwc and was running at 1 inwc. Aside from high static pressure everything else was within spec and is cooling. No recommendations at this time. Thank you!

Full system with filter box and UV

For this job, I was checking up on two air-conditioning units. One is for the upstairs and this one is operating perfectly. At this time. I replaced the filter checked all electrical components and everything isn’t working order. We just wanna keep an eye on the outdoor capacitor. After checking the larger 3 ton unit which heats and cools the basement and the main floor. It was clear that the system was often times short cycling because it was going into thermal overload. It was going into thermal overload because the condenser was overheating due to the fact that the fan would only turn on About 60% of the time. Because of this the condenser has been put through a lot and is starting to grind. the fan itself needs to be replaced and the capacitor at the very least. However, I’m afraid that it’s done permanent damage to the condenser so I’m recommending either a full system or at least an AC coil and condenser.

Dispatched for nest thermostat dropping Y1 call. After a thorough inspection of the whole system. The issue was at the outside unit. The first issue was bare wires that send the Y1 call to the outdoor unit. Second issue was a high voltage wire that was fried going to the capacitor. Third was the capacitor was not providing enough voltage to the fan motor which made the compressor over amp. After fix these issue the compressor amps receded and the fan motor is getting enough power to remove the heat for the outdoor unit. Came and assisted field supervisor in assessing the system for replacement.

Performed cooling maintenance and filter changes on two rooftop units. The split-system above the small office in the shop had its filter replaced, washed, and bearings on blower motor checked. Due to a remodel the split-system has had the primary voltage turned off, due to this I was unable to operate the equipment today. I spoke with James about this and if he has a cooling issue with this system he will contact us. The rooftop units are cooling properly and all tests were in their proper range. Thank you, Jon

Proposed proper sizing to 3 ton system and gave a comprehensive load calc and CFM test. Also presented Aeroseal.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Found the system operating with more than double the static pressure the system is rated for. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Went back inside and checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.
