Went for a heating inspection. Tested for carbon monoxide did have a high reading. When inspecting heat exchanger there was a hole visible and reason for the high reading. System is red tagged for now. Until heat exchanger gets replaced will be safe to operate. Showed customer findings and will be uploaded via email.
*)**)**(((*((((((((((******((*** There was a thermostat used on this call. The invoice is saved in S.T. &($(&$&(&)&(&)&/&/&&/&&/&&/;&+;+;$; Today when I arrived I checked in and it was relayed to me that this unit has been worked on every 6months. The system is from 2019 and is in really good condition. The wiring for the low voltage controls was not correct with the y and w wires tied together and the electric heat was not functioning. Nothing was functioning when I arrived. I rewired the air handler’s 24v controls to separate the y and w wires and had the w that goes out to the condenser go back to the electric heat strips. This function of all circuits rewired were checked before moving onto the next one. The system responded when I bypassed the thermostat however the thermostat was not sending voltage into the y circuit. A new thermostat as sourced and installed. The system was function checked after installation and all functions are operating now. The
Went for a maintenance call today. Tested for static pressure system is passing when in heat. Heat strips are good. As well for amperage is passing. Blower amps is within manufacture specifications. Temp split passes for system. Capacitor is passing outside. Fan and compressor are within specs. System is up and running before leaving. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann
Dispatched for annual AC tuneup. At arrival system is operating. During the tuneup, I checked compressor, fan and capacitor. Also, during the inspection we checked pressures, static pressure, and temperature split. All components of the AC are all operating with manufacturer specs. Thank you for allowing us in your house to provide the perfect home service and for being a member of the perfect family service club from your LBA Service tech Calvin. Arrived for ac check. Started at furnace and checked static pressure, it is failing. We have discussed this with you before. There is a 20 degree temp split. Wheel is clean. Running amps are good. I changed filter. At the condensing unit all pressures and charge look good. All electrical components are running within manufacturing specs. Coil is rinsed clean. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Went for an ac call today. Did a static pressure test it passed. Temperature split between supply and return duct passed. Blower motor amperage passed. Outdoor unit is very clean. Capacitor got replaced, due to the original one failing. Fan motor and compressor amperage passed. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Replaced UV system. UV system works and furnace is up and heating. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Completed furnace inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time. Customer stated that uv light wasn’t working properly, tested and it is malfunctioning. Called supplier to check warranty status, awaiting to hear back from them and then we will contact customer to return.
Bulb comes in Thursday or friday.
Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. This is a Goodman systems that Ideal Temp installed back in March of 2022. I changed out the filter which is a 20x25x4 inch media filter. The old filter was extremely dirty. This is a reminder to change out your filter every 6 months with that type of filter. I also tried cleaning the return vent the best I could today. The blower wheel is very dirty and should be cleaned in the near future. The running amps on the inducer and blower motor were within manufacturer specifications. I took a temperature split on the system. It is rated for 15 to 45 degrees, 97 degrees(supply temp) - 67 degrees(return temp) = 30 degree temp rise is within specs. I did a test for any CO leaking from the heat exchanger but didn’t get any hits which is great! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. No payment was due for todays visit, it was covered by your membership. I was to stress how important cha

Completed heating inspection for customer. Tested air handler and heat pump, heat pump functions normally and operates a 30-40 degree temp split, tested electric back up heat all coils energize and producing 50+degree air. All aspects test within manufacturer specs, no recommendations at this time.
Went in for a service call today. After hooking up the gauges I noticed that the suction side was low and that the discharge side was high. So I perceived that there was a restriction in the system. So I replaced the filter dryer inside the ac unit and cleaned the piston metering device. After refilling the system with refrigerant the system passed on superheat. The system was working properly when we finished. Thank you for choosing LBA Services!
Went for a service call today. Customer mentioned the house wasn’t cooling well. When checking pressures, I noticed the super heat was really high and the suction side was low. After doing a few tests, I figured out that the piston is clogged, going to replace filter dryer as well. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
