Job Locations and Reviews
Upon assessing the existing electrical setup, it was determined that the main trunk in the attic, measuring 8x10, had limited capacity for additional airflow. To address this, we devised a plan to add supplementary supply runs. This involved carefully evaluating the current wiring and identifying optimal locations for new supply lines. We ensured that the new runs would be integrated seamlessly without compromising safety or efficiency. Additionally, we took measures to maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure while enhancing the overall functionality of the electrical system. The result was a more robust and efficient electrical setup, capable of meeting increased demands.
System was not running when I arrived. I found the thermostat was set to only one stage of heat and cool instead of two stage which would match the system. I found the W-2 wire not hooked up at the thermostat as well. I fixed wiring and reprogrammed the thermostat. Heat pump kicked on, but the heat strips did not. I went through the system and checked all the wiring and separated the wiring to test voltage. Voltage from the thermostat was reading only 14 Volts. I changed out the thermostat and then the system ran in both stages for heat strips and heat pump. System is operating as it should departure.
Heat pump was shutting off after only five minutes of operation when I arrived, which was causing the indoor heat kit to run way too long. After inspecting the full system, I found that a setting needed adjusted on the outside unit and after adjusting that to the correct setting The heat pump ran for over 30 minutes without any issues.
Went for a heating tune up. Inspected heat strips no wear and tear. As well for evaporator coil is clean. Heat strips and blower are passing for amperage. Did notice condenser unit was off. A wire wasn’t making full contact tightened it. Refrigerant charge is passing. Temp split passes on system. System is up and running before departure. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Found that the system is not wired for heat pump operation. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the blower wheel is coated in dust debris. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Found a fitting close to the water heater that is leaking gas. Furnace is operational at this time.
Went for an AC maintenance today. Filter is clean. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Evaporator coil is clean and rust free. Outside system is clean. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Compressor and fan motor amperage passed. Capacitor passed as well. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Went for an AC inspection today. Changed the filter. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Evaporator coil is clean and rust free. Outside system got washed. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Compressor and fan motor amperage was high, after washing unit, both components are running at desired level. Capacitor passed as well. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

After checking the system and teaming up with Robbie, we believe the outdoor control board is the issue.
Replace condenser and coil. Add to Dragonette.
Customer called for no cool. Upon arrival customer turned unit on for technician to listen to. Compressor is internally damaged and making very loud noise and not moving refrigerant. Trying to get distributor to honor manufacturer warranty on unit replacement as this model is discontinued. Customer is aware we are actively trying to find him a suitable replacement and will contact him once we know what is available and what we can do. We did deliver some temporary units to customer for the mean time.
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system still looks brand new and is operational at this time.

Sold 3 ton Standard AHU & HP with new humidifier, IAQ 3000, and new drop and air box $14,249.82
Arrived to evaluate a system a homeowner would like to replace. Homeowner mentioned that the system is still working but is making a good bit of noise. Found that the system is 30 years old. Opened up the system and found that the interior of the equipment is heavily coated in bacterial growth. Performed a static pressure test and found that the system is flowing air very well. Considering the amount of bacterial growth and dust in the system, would recommend replacement considering the high cost of cleanings.

Arrived for furnace maintenance today. Checked static pressure and found it is failing at this time. Heat exchanger looks good. Carbon monoxide test was 0 ppm. All electrical components are within manufacturing specs. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Arrived to remedy an inoperable air conditioning system. Upon inspection of the system, found it running like normal. Performed diagnostic and found the system to b operating properly but assumed it wasn’t able to keep up in the weather. Set the fan speed one speed lower. Tested system operations and found that the furnace would turn off and would only relight after about 10 minutes. Reset the fan speed. Performed further diagnostic and found that the condensation system had a blockage. Blew through the drain and cleared the blockage. Checked the outside portion of the drain and found ice. Recommended installing heat tap on the condensation drain. System is operating properly upon departure.
Installed new thermostat and ran new wiring. Programmed thermostat to the system and set up customers app. All ops okay at departure.
